Traditional bridges rely on third parties. ZKsync Connect uses ZK proofs anchored to Ethereum to deliver atomicity and privacy that message-based designs aren't built to provide.

Message-based systems are fine for moving assets between chains but they lack strong guarantees. Message-based systems lack atomicity and privacy; within our network of chains, the ZK-anchored approach is designed to make settlement verifiable, atomic, and private.

Intents work for simple order matching. But RWAs and institutional flows require native asset movement and assured delivery, not coordination layers.
